Summary:

We are searching for a Benefit Specialist-someone who works well in a fast-paced setting in our hospital employee benefits department. In this position, you’ll provide customer service to employees in answering questions and resolving issues related to employee life benefits programs and policies, including but not limited to Tuition Assistance Program, Adoption, Back-up Care, Team Sports Subsidy, Employee Recognition Ceremony, Super Star Program. In this position you will be responsible for making recommendations into policies associated with employee benefits and parking.

Responsibilities :

  • Program ownership of the Tuition Assistance Program, Adoption, Back-up Care, Team Sports Subsidy, Employee Recognition Ceremony, Super Star Program, Bread and Wassail and other employee recognition programs, as assigned

 

 

  • Develop and maintain program budgets, contracts and billing

 

 

  • Ensure operational efficiencies of administrative procedures and exceptional documentation of processes.

 

 

  • Provide superior vendor management

 

 

  • Resolve escalated employee issues as needed

 

 

  • Develop and communicate programs to ensure programs are utilized and valued by employees

 

 

  • Act as benefits SME for assigned program and provide updates to team as needed

 

 

  • Identify and implement "best practices" in delivering programs to employees

 

 

  • Present ROI data to HR leadership to support modifications or new programs

 

 

  • Plan and coordinate road show events at various locations

 

 

  • Support team with related AE activities


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

 

 

  • Three (3) years of experience in Benefits, Human Resources, Payroll, or Finance experience (A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline may be substituted for two of the required years of experience.)

 

 

  • Knowledge of benefits policies, procedures, and regulatory requirement as they apply to organizations with 4,500+ employees.

 

 

  • Must have strong customer service ethic communication skills and analytical skills

 

 

  • Knowledge of Windows/Microsoft Office Suite

 

 

  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision

 

 

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with a wide variety of people

 

 

  • Ability to conduct group presentations

 

 

Preferred

  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft
