Summary:

We are searching for a Programming & Systems Integration Manager who focuses on Business Intelligence – someone who works well in a fast-paced managed care organization setting. In this position, you’ll provide direction and guidance to application and technical staff. You will manage and facilitate projects within Health Plan departments. Ensure reliable operation and transfer of data to and from the company. The person in this job is responsible for providing input into policies associated with the job’s purpose and essential responsibilities.

Responsibilities :

 

  • Ensures staff received training required to complete projects
  • Ensures each individual’s skill sets are properly utilized
  • Assists in analysis of problems encountered in projects
  • Coordinates efforts of technical and functional teams involved in projects
  • Enforces project management policies and procedures to all team members performing project management
  • Consults with user departments to coordinate plans and activities including coordination to facilitate specific development projects, coordination of software upgrades and the installation of new products
  • Resolves procedural problems through expert analysis of the more difficult installs or modifications
  • Develops a realistic plan for identifying and accomplishing projects for the following year with Director’s assistance
  • Develops cost center budget projections
  • Completes timely performance appraisals for direct reports


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Nine (9) years of IS experience
  • Three (3) years of management experience
  • Expertise in all aspects of information services, including hardware and systems interfaces local area and enterprise-wide networking, data communications, and programming
  • A working knowledge of a variety of technologies and hospital operations is also required
  • Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is are analytical skills, verbal and written communications skills, organizational skills, and leadership
  • Experience in implementing and supporting EDI/Middleware systems, preferred
  • Business Intelligence Reporting
  • Demonstrates analytical skills, verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and leadership
