We are searching for an Sr. EDI Analyst – someone who works well in a fast-paced managed care or health plan setting. The Sr. EDI Analyst implements and maintains Electronic Data interchange, (FTP) processes, technical standards, and identifies EDI solutions to match business needs and overall process improvements. Primarily responsible for creation and operational support for EDI batch job processes.

Responsibilities :

  • Monitors EDI batch job processing and reports status daily
  • Communicates with vendors and clients regarding day-to-day EDI transactions
  • Troubleshoots issues impacting successful receipt or delivery of files; performing root cause analysis
  • Coordinates with external partners to onboard and establish FTP connectivity
  • Oversees the production support of data interchange with existing EDI trading partners


  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related fields preferred
  • 2 years' experience working with HealthCare IT operational support processes and HIPAA X12 EDI transactions required
  • Broad IT industry knowledge including X12 transactions and databases (SQL Server, MS Access) required
  • Previous experience in HealthCare or with an HMO or MCO organization preferred
