We are searching for a Senior Application Developer who is skilled in reporting - someone who works well in a fast-paced managed care setting. You will perform custom application and report development, data and application integration for the health plan's information systems, and to devise and design technical requirements and estimate effort. You will be responsible for documentation of well-defined methods, procedures, programs and configurations in the delivery of application services. You will also be responsible for making recommendations regarding policies associated with the job’s purpose and essential responsibilities.
You must be well versed in creating code that takes data and turns them into detailed reports. Candidates will need to have a background with SQL, MicroSoft Reporting or SSRS, and MicroSoft's Intergration services or SSIS. Ideally candidates will also have exposure to Power BI. This role will have to translate regulatory requirements from the State of Texas and turn them into effective reports that the leadership of the Texas Children's Health Plan can use to analyze business operations. A business analyst background might not hurt either.
