We are searching for a Business Systems Analyst I (EPIC Trainer) - someone who works well in a fast-paced primary care setting. In this position, you’ll have a role in training primary care clinics in the use of the practice’s electronic medical record program. Includes physicians, clinical staff, and management team. The role will also include developing and maintaining training curriculum. You will manage the on-going maintenance of applications and investigate processes to meet end user needs. Additionally, you will provide financial systems support, coordinate system upgrades, and provide other system support for applicable pathology applications.

Responsibilities :

  • Train primary care clinics in the use of the practice’s electronic medical record program. Includes physicians, clinical staff, and management team.
  • Develop and maintain training curriculum
  • Plan, organize and present training sessions for new and existing employees. Present information, using a variety of instructional techniques such as simulations, group discussion, webinars and PowerPoint.
  • Design course material and other documents such as handouts
  • Supports continued system maintenance and optimization
  • Analyzes system problems and modifications
  • Coordinates training of systems
  • Familiarity with TCPA staff and data processing techniques and practices
  • Project management and planning, group presentation, and team building skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze the functionality of systems and their fit with specifications
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, nursing, or other related field
  • Epic Trainer Certification preferred
  • Trainer / Implementation experience
  • Two years of experience in information systems is preferred
  • Knowledge of current business practices, computing systems, and TCPA standard software
  • Familiarity with a variety of hardware and software environments
  • A working knowledge of the healthcare industry
  • Knowledge of Epic applications
