Summary:

We are searching for a Revenue Operations Specialist – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll have significant responsibilities in the areas of data and gift entry to ensure that all cash gifts, stock donations, and pledges are accurately recorded in the fundraising database and reconciled with the Financial Office.



Responsibilities :

  • Provides backup for regular deposits per guidelines established
  • Enters EFT banking information into Raiser’s Edge and prepares batch for importing
  • Enters all information relating to gift into the gift record, e.g. linking proposals, tributes, events, solicitors, etc.
  • Prepares standard donor acknowledgments of all deposits (Inc. in-kind and outside department deposits) (receipt or letter) within required timeline of receipt of gift
  • Tracks outstanding pledges and produces pledge reminder letters to donors and reports as appropriate
  • Updates biographical data in RE as provided by constituent’s information on checks and/or correspondence
  • Proactively works to eliminate paper files, by scanning and indexing historical documents
  • Communicates large or noteworthy gifts to the appropriate Philanthropy team members per policy
  • Assists with filing as needed
  • Proactive inputs prospects and updates lists in donor database


Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • A Bachelor's degree may substitute for the two (2) years of required work experience
  • 2 years Fundraising and/or finance experience
  • 2 year’s Experience with fundraising software, preferably Black baud system preferred
  • Knowledge of computer software experience including, but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work with numbers, including having a good memory to recall numbers and names
  • Competently utilize word processing, spreadsheet, and other computer programs/software; the ability to work steadily and accurately in a position that does not present a great deal of variety
  • Ability to work quickly and consistently during “peak” season (generally September through February)
