We are searching for a Director of Cardiology who possesses a Master's degree and is responsible for cardiology business operations, outpatients services, including clinic, echo and other diagnostics and the cardiac cath lab.  Someone who works well in a fast-paced setting.  In this position, you will lead the inpatient business units by creating an environment in which the staff have sufficient resources, training, systems integration and leadership to provide patient care services in a cost effective manner.

Responsibilities :



  • Ensures the delivery of quality, cost effective patient care within a family-centered environment as measured by variance analysis report 
  • Identifies, facilitates, and participates in performance improvement projects which enhance patient care delivery systems and patient satisfaction 
  • Mentors and develops leadership skills of unit leadership team members to provide consistent levels of service 
  • Identifies, provides and develops opportunities for all staff to grow professionally to provide consistent levels of service 
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with medical leadership, direct reports and appropriate interdepartmental liaisons to ensure the achievement of identified goals 
  • Develops and prioritizes service-based goals in support of the IDS strategic plan 
  • Identifies, facilitates, and participates in PI projects that enhance patient care delivery systems and/or patient satisfaction. Leads, participates, and collaborates on interdepartmental teams, work groups and committees that support organizational priorities as measured by outcomes achieved





  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or healthcare related field 
  • 5 years of financial or hospital operations experience, including 2 years of formal leadership experience
