Summary:

We are searching for a Health Education Specialist – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will develop and implement disease, clinical care process, injury prevention, and/or childhood adversity programs for the hospital and provide an organized, comprehensive approach for educating healthcare professionals, patient families and the community in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop, organize and implement broad-based health education programs aimed at patient families and community residents
  • Creates an infrastructure to support and sustain quality improvement education such as advanced quality improvement
  • Demonstrates commitment to team flexibility, professionalism, and critical thinking


Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Education or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in public health, health education or quality improvement science preferred
  • Master’s Degree in Health Education or a related field preferred
