Summary:

We are searching for a Senior Data Security Analyst – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will assist the Data Security manager in implementation of the Information Security Strategic Plan and mentoring of Data Security Analysts. The position will lead development of an information Security Operations Center, promote IS Security standards, and assure that IS Security complies with IS policies and standards.

Responsibilities :

Job Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Outlines long-term technical security requirements assimilating governmental regulations, evolving technical threats, and IDS goals
  • Identifies limitations with existing security infrastructure and lead movement to fill gaps
  • Automates existing security procedures to streamline processes, reduce errors, and improve service to customers
  • Develops a monitoring and compliance strategy to ensure security policies are followed
  • Creates and ensures the maintenance of written security policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards

 

 



Qualifications:

Requirements

 

  • 4 years in information security field, including 2 years as a data security analyst
  • In depth knowledge in operating platforms and network/communications systems
  • In depth knowledge of security features of operating systems
  • IT security certification i.e. CISSP, CISM, GSEC, ETC
  • Hands on security architecture experience
