We are searching for a Pathology Outreach Coordinator — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll plan, implement and facilitate the outreach program of the Pathology Department in compliance with Departmental and Institutional goals. You will also be responsible for coordinating outreach activities to ensure that high quality laboratory services and testing are provided to patients in a timely and cost effective manner.

Responsibilities :

  • Develops and sustains/refines business plan for Pathology outreach
  • Creates annual report on outreach activities
  • Responsible for procedures related to Pathology Outreach activity across all shifts
  • Recognizes and solves administrative/operational problems
  • Ensures review of worksheets and pending logs as related to Pathology Outreach activity
  • Responsible for quality of Laboratory Outreach activities as related to follow up on complaints
  • Oversees regulatory compliance with all local, state, and national statutes related to Laboratory business development activities
  • Responsible for working with billing vendor to assure all Pathology Outreach activities is billed appropriately; monitors collections and works with billing vendor to maximize collections
  • Maintains integrity of client fee schedules in conjunction with outside billing vendor
  • Coordinates/Supports Sales and Educational Activities for Pathology Outreach clients
  • Identifies and contacts potential Pathology Outreach clients with the purpose of selling laboratory services










  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Master's Degree is preferred
  • 2 years of Laboratory experience or medical/clinical experience
