We are searching for a Family Centered Care Specialist – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide leadership and support in the education, advocacy and programmatic activities that promote and enhance family- centered care (FCC) throughout the organizations Integrated Delivery System. You will also coordinate ways in which patients and families can contribute to the mission, values, safety, quality and delivery of care for the business.

Responsibilities :

  • Promote family-centered care throughout the organization and serve as a resource for best practices 
  • Formally coordinate parent and patient involvement on hospital initiatives 
  • Serves as a liaison to hospital patients, family advisory groups, and family and children advisory boards 
  • Provide family perspective on hospital committees, projects and programs





  • Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s Preferred 
  • 5 years’ experience required in the child healthcare environment. 
  • Sound knowledge of family-centered care principals and family experiences within the pediatric healthcare system 
  • Have the ability to work independently, experience speaking amongst diverse audiences, strong leadership, communications, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
