Summary:

We are searching for a Bed Transport Technician — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll provide delivery and retrieval of patient beds in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.

Responsibilities :

  • Delivers and retrieves beds, cribs, and other patient-related equipment as requested by leadership
  • Delivers/retrieves beds, cribs, and other patient-related equipment as dispatched within established time frame
  • Identifies unused equipment and delivers to storage area
  • Cleans equipment regularly following departmental equipment cleaning procedures
  • Inspects equipment prior to transport and delivers equipment needing repair to the proper location
  • Demonstrates ownership for responsibilities in assigned zone and other designated areas
  • Demonstrates accountability for customer service and professional behavior through personal work ethic, teamwork and effective communication skills
  • Identifies and appropriately resolves maintenance deficiencies in assigned zone to maintain space quality through improvement of efficiency, outcomes, and customer service
  • Identifies and appropriately reports space quality deficiencies throughout hospital properties according to departmental procedures established by management


Qualifications:

 

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting
