Summary:

We are searching for a Senior Financial Analyst — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll assist in maintaining the financial and statistical records of the Health Plan, ensuring that executives, management and the Board can continuously measure Health Plan performance relative to its goals and strategies.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure that membership and revenues are reported accurately and appropriately
  • Ensure that medical expenses are calculated and recorded in accordance with Health Plan policy
  • Ensure that data is reconciled between different information systems, and between different reporting standards
  • Analyze and report Health Plan performance by department, product line, or time frame as needed by management
  • Prepare reports and analysis required for financial or regulatory purposes
  • Other assistance as needed to ensure successful departmental and Health Plan operations


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license issued by the Texas State of Public Accountancy, or equivalent state Board for out of state residents, may
substitute for two years of the required experience.
  • 5 years of accounting or analytical work experience
