Summary:

We are searching for an Assistant Director Investments - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will create and maintain a framework to optimize investment performance of the hospital’s Foundation, pension plan and other investment portfolios. Actively monitor the marketplace for major developments affecting investments in the current portfolios and to seek potential new investments in each asset class. Experience in working with a foundation, endowment or hospital is a must!

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external investment managers across equity, fixed income and alternative asset strategies
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of the strategic direction of the Investment Office
  • Develops and maintains internal pipeline of investment opportunities
  • Provides mentorship, prioritizes work efforts, helps establish goals and Investment Office expectations
  • Communicates effectively with the Chief Investment Officer, fellow team members and Board of Directors, specifically Foundation Board members
  • Performs special projects as assigned by the Chief Investment Officer


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7 years of financial industry experience
  • CFA preferred
