We are searching for a Director of Supply Chain Management – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will oversee sophisticated supply chain management processes in a dynamic and challenging work environment. Strategically plan, direct and develop all areas encompassed within the hospital Supply Chain in support of the Integrated Delivery System's (IDS) mission and vision. Provides leadership in meeting operational and fiscal objectives as they relate to supplies and service expenses, inventory management, supply chain logistics.

Responsibilities :

  • Designs and directs the functions and operations to be performed by areas managed
  • Develops and continuously monitors the functional strategic plan; including the development and implementation of new initiatives appropriate to the current business environment of the IDS
  • Performs all high dollar negotiations for the purchase of goods and services
  • Directs the activities in the department related to the hiring, professional development, general competency, promotion, performance appraisal and disciplinary action of the management team and staff
  • Guides the Product Utilization & Review Committee in determining the appropriate use of products through the development of individual task forces evaluations, as documented by PURC meeting minutes
  • Creates opportunities to provide leadership and guidance to other departments in support of current and new programs or initiatives, which could benefit from Supply Chain expertise, experience, support and/or resources


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related science and a Master’s in either Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
  • 10 years of experience in a progressively complex leadership role overseeing sophisticated supply chain management processes within a diverse set of environments: acute healthcare, industry, for-profit and non-profit
