We are searching for an Assistant Director - Cancer/Hematolgy Center – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will plan, organize, and manage the activities and programs of the assigned Division/Center within the Hospital Cancer & Hematology Centers. You will serve as primary focal point for strategic planning as well as all daily operational related issues. Provides guidance and direction to faculty, trainees, staff and unpaid personnel who conduct the activities of the Division/Center.


This position is in Clinical Research, Cancer/Hematology Center.

Responsibilities :



  • Completes and presents strategic plans for the advancement of support for and activities of the Division/Center



  • Identifies important trends or changes in the related fields of patient care, education and research



  • Coordinates the activities of the Division/Center and provides leadership to the long-term and short-term operational needs of those who work in the Division/Center



  • Provides input, plans, and directs daily operations



  • Promotes a Customer Service Culture and Partnership Management by working in collaboration with institutional leadership, other departments and Division/Center members





  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Business, Hospital Administration or related healthcare or business field



  • 5 years of business operations, research, and or quality experience



  • Master’s degree in in Science, Business, Hospital Administration or related healthcare or business field may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience
