We are searching for a Systems Analyst II-"Epic Cupid"

In this position you will support all phases of a Cupid system implementation and provide production services such as recommending improvements to strategy, system usage, or process through the application of business and technology skill sets.

Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including configuration, testing, debugging, and documenting applications. Consults with customers to identify current operation procedures and to clarify program objectives. Additional responsibilities include workflow administration, data management and performing minor modifications to the Cupid application.


Communication with internal customers will be a key component as well, as you will be talking with the staff in cardiology, physicians and others.  You will be joining a small team that works well together. This role is based on-site at the hospital in our Feigin building.

Responsibilities :

Supports the system installation through the implementation cycle.

  • Establish project governance and facilitates Steering and Work team meetings.
  •  Update/track project implementation plan.
  •  Develop, schedule and facilitate test plans for software, network, integration, user acceptance and parallel usage.
  •  Prepare and implement procedures for downtime, end-users, production, and help desk.

  •  Develop training programs and materials/documentation for all user types.
  •  Obtain user acceptance/sign off based on functional and performance requirements.
  •  Prepares accurate and timely status reports for management.
  •  Prior to first productive use, identify the impacts and dependencies of the new system.
  •  Demonstrate efficiencies of the new system and provide feedback to teams.
  •  At completion of project, ensures smooth transition of system responsibilities to support staff.



 Performs configuration analysis for system design.

  • Facilitates design analysis with users to determine configuration for the user interface.
  • Specifies the design decisions in an accurate and testable manner for developers and database analysts.
  • Assists with the design of user procedures.




Analyzes system problems and modifications.

  • Analyzes business use of existing systems to identify problem to be resolved and defines system applications or process improvements.
  • Recommends modifications to application design or current procedures to maximize advantages of existing resources.



Coordinates implementation and upgrades of complex systems.

  • Assists with upgrade testing.
  • Analyzes impact on users and determines if additional training is required.






  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.



  • Min. of 7 years of relatable experience required
  • Hands on contributor to end to end Implementation of EPIC Cupid
  • Strong experience with Epic Cupid implementation(s)



  •  Epic Cupid Certification is considered a big plus
  •  Certification in OPTIME or Radiant is an acceptable alternate
  •  Responsibilities of this role is FOCUSED on the implementation of EPIC Cupid

  •  Must have Implementation experience and has done the EPIC build and configuration.
  •  Experience addressing backend issues related to implementation of EPIC Cupid
  •  Identifies system or application needs.
  •  Translate clinical operations to users and manage transition of users to EPIC Cupid.

  •  Collaborate with technicians and clinical users with regards to best features to use in Cupid.
  •  Analysis of current business practices, user needs and work flow processes.
  •  Document the current as is & to be business processes.
  •  Perform vendor analysis and make recommendations.
  •  Investigate alternative solutions including feasibility studies using results from vendor analysis/evaluations.
