Summary:

We are searching for an Advanced Respiratory Care Practitioner– someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will administer a variety of respiratory care procedures in a developmentally/age appropriate manner for patients ranging from neonates to adults.

Responsibilities :

•Performs patient care and related activities according to policy and/or guidelines in compliance with MD order to provide optimal patient outcome

•Documents patient-related activities according to policy/guidelines accurately in a legible manner

•Facilitates good communication with Physician, Nursing, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate optimal patient care
•Provides instruction to patients and families
•Expands professional knowledge base and clinical capabilities
•Performs other essential functions



Qualifications:

  • Technical Diploma from Respiratory certification/registry program 
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree from an A.M.A. approved program in respiratory care preferred
  • RRT LIC - Lic-Respiratory Therapists from National Board for Respiratory Care 
  • RCP - Lic- Respiratory Care - RCP from the state of Texas
  • BLS - Cert-Basic Life Support preferred
  • 1 year of clinical experience in both critical and non-critical care areas and 6 months of experience in critical care preferred
