We are searching for a Government Relations Liaison — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll assist the director of government and community relations with the development of a legislative advocacy strategy, the interpretation and lobbying of specific public policy, and the education and dissemination of information to specific IDS departments and employees in regards to legislative and public affairs matter.

Responsibilities :

  • Supports the government relations department and director in monitoring, researching and advocating public policy that may impact the IDS
  • Assists the director with the collection and analysis of data specific to the Hospital and creates venues to educate elected officials and their staffs about children’s hospitals
  • Assists the Director of Government and Community Relations with maintaining relationships with elected officials and staff
  • Assists with special projects as needed


  • Bachelor's Degree in political science, health care administration, or related field
  • 2 years of legislative advocacy and public policy
