Summary:

We are searching for a Registered Nurse to work as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator with our Colorectal & Pelvic Health Program – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will  work closely with Urology, Adolescent GYN and GI team and also manage the daily clinical and personnel activities for the department. This position participates in and coordinates the delivery of high quality, family centered and developmentally appropriate patient care, and also collaborates with ancillary departments to ensure timely and appropriate care.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible and accountable for the daily care coordination of patients within area of clinical subspecialties
  • Provides education concerning various aspects of the care
  • Coordinates nursing care of patients across various departments and subspecialty services by demonstrating commitment to team, flexibility, professional interpersonal, communication, critical thinking customer service skills
  • Collects and maintains data on patient referrals and consults, and effectively manages program
  • Collaborates with other members of the team and other key stakeholders and ensures staffing needs are met


Qualifications:

  • Diploma, Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • RN - Lic-Registered Nurses from State of Texas Board of Nurse Examiner
  • BLS - Cert-Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association
  • 3 years of clinical nursing experience required
