We are searching for a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Senior - someone who works well in a fast-paced hospital setting. In this position, you’ll be responsible for the successful and compliant onboarding of all new hires and internal transferring employees. In addition, Senior TA Specialists will plan, implement and manage projects or Talent Acquisition initiatives, along with contributing to the successful talent acquisition operations of their aligned departments.

  • High school diploma or GED Five (5) years of talent acquisition, recruitment, administrative support, or human resources experience (Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline may substitute for four years of the required experience)



  • Knowledge of the basic functions of human resources and Hospital policies and procedures



  • Must have knowledge about new hire laws and regulations to maintain compliance with regulatory groups



  • Ability to competently utilize Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, applicant tracking systems, HRIS systems, and social media technologies



  • Must demonstrate problem-solving skills



  • Ability to work independently, take initiative to bring critical issues to leadership’s attention, and communicate effectively with all levels of Texas Children’s employees, leaders, and visitors
