We are searching for a Manager Enterprise Systems-Application Support — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll serve as the Application Management Support for specified services identified in the Business and Technical Service Catalog. In the role of Service Owner, the position is expected to maintain performance within agreed upon service levels, manage and develop service, continuously improve the quality of service, and work with leadership to implement and retire services. You will provide support for Microsoft production systems by planning, managing, and maintaining an effective information systems network of users and managing the production activities of the system including education, training and utilization.

Skills & Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another related field



  • 4 years of related work experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree



  • 5 years of experience in information systems selection, implementation or support



  • ITIL 3 Version 3 Foundation Exam preferred



  • Management experience preferred



Job Duties & Responsibilities


  • Manages and develops service by overseeing the daily operations of the service, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures and service agreements



  • Coordinates and manages services across functional areas by collaborating with other service owners in the resolution of operational issues and requests to ensure consistent, high-quality service to customers



  • Acts as a contact for their respective application services for customers and operations leadership by seeking to understand customer needs, providing information, responding to inquiries, investigating and resolving problems related to the service, and educating customer on service



  • Resolves incidents and provides services within agreed upon time frames as defined by Priority and Service Level Agreement



  • Reviews frequent incidents and works with Problem Manager to determine and resolve root cause, prevent future incidents and reduce degree of business impact



  • Manages system operations



  • Ensures the ongoing development and review of departmental system policies and procedures by coordinating revisions with appropriate staff, monitoring progress, reviewing, and forwarding to assistant director for approval
