We are searching for an Environmental Services Lead – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform scheduled and requested cleaning and maintenance of the hospital floors in accordance with departmental and hospital standards. You will monitor and direct staff activities as prescribed by immediate supervisor.

Responsibilities :

  • Performs cleaning/floor care duties in assigned areas on a daily basis according to approved infection control and standard operating procedures
  • Demonstrates ownership for responsibilities in assigned areas
  • Demonstrates accountability for customer service and professional behavior through personal work ethic, teamwork and effective communication skills
  • Monitors and assists staff activities in assigned area and other designated areas under direction of immediate supervisor


  • Required, 2 years of experience in Environmental Services in either Healthcare, Hospitality, or Contract Cleaning services
  • Prior hospital experience in Environmental Services is preferred
  • Knowledge of standard housekeeping procedures to include cleaning and use of cleaning products, sanitizing and chemical safety practices
  • Ability to use standard cleaning and floor equipment, and to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Requires satisfactory completion of departmental training classes for Unit Support Assistants
