We are searching for a Renal School Liaison — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll provide school advocacy and tutoring instruction to chronic kidney disease patients. You will be facilitating appropriate curriculum and programming for each individual school age patient. Lastly, you will advocate directly with schools, families and medical teams to ensure appropriate provisions for placement and accommodations within individual school settings.

Responsibilities :



  • Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs and abilities of students



  • Provides instructional support that reflects accommodations for individual patients



  • Guides learning processes and achievements using a variety of instructional techniques for individual patients



  • Assesses and develops interventions based on school functions



  • Provides educational development for Renal medical team



  • Maintains knowledge of community resources in order to assist patients/families





  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field


  • 3 years of special education experience 


  • TSTC - Texas Standard Teaching Certification Preferred
