We are searching for an Computer Operations/Data Center Manager. In this position, you’ll be responsible for the management and operations of the Data Center, Server, Storage, Azure Cloud Services, Monitoring, and the network operations center. This role will primarily be responsible for maintaining performance service levels, managing and developing service, and continuously improving the quality of service.

Responsibilities :

  • Allocates appropriate personnel and resources to ensure delivery of consistent, high-quality service
  • Oversees the daily operations of the service, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures and service agreements
  • Establishes and implements short and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures for the service that link to IS priorities; set appropriate stretch goals and stay focused to persistently drive to meet or exceed those goals
  • Represents the service in the Change Management process by determining potential impacts to the services as well as mitigation actions required to minimize impacts
  • Establishes and monitors vendor accountabilities, SLAs, and regulatory requirements
  • Acts as a contact for their respective services for customers and operations leadership by seeking to understand customer needs, providing information, responding to inquiries, investigating and resolving problems related to the service, and educating customer on service
  • Reviews frequent incidents and works to determine and resolve root cause, prevent future incidents, and reduce degree of business impact
  • Leads and directs the Data Center, Server, Storage, Azure, Monitoring, Network Operations Center, and vendor partners; ensuring compliance with the Problem Management, Change Management, Availability Management, and Data Center Management strategies
  • Leads the team in resolving down systems and applications
  • Leads staff in the research and development of new technologies for supplies and products for the data centers
  • Submits capitol project plans for the infrastructure upgrades to the data centers in a timely manner, based on need and long-term infrastructure plans


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another related field
  • Four (4) years of related work experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree
  • ITIL Version 3 Certification is preferred
  • Seven (7) years of experience in information systems selection, implementation, or support is required
  • Management experience is preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in supporting IT systems and data center operations in an enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated current working experience with the deployment and on-going management of virtualization, storage, system administration, file share, backup, and other computer systems
  • Must understand IT data center systems service provisioning methods and procedures related to Moves/Adds/Changes along with system level provisioning
  • Solid VMWare, HPE Server, HPE 3PAR Storage, Windows 2012R2/2016 server administration, and other systems knowledge
  • Experience with routine system administration tasks, such as OS and application patches, upgrades, and backups of the IT computer environment, i.e. SCCM, SCOM
  • Experience in health care is a plus
