Summary:

We are searching for a Clinical Data Specialist – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will oversee the data systems of multiple care processes within a single Clinical Program - Perioperative.  Strong report writing skills are a must.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordinates data collection, extraction, and validation
  • Supports outcome analysis and information presentation for a variety of internal and external customers to create best clinical practices
  • Works with front-line clinicians and clinical program leaders to identify which data elements must be captured to manage a care process effectively
  • Maintains Care Process Model development, research, care delivery standardization, and knowledge asset development
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of proven project management principles, including resource allocation, cost tracking, monitoring project scope, and project risk management


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a clinical discipline, such as nursing, business, or informatics required
  • 5 years of healthcare experience required
  • SQL, Crystal Reports, ClickView experience preferred
  • Strong Epic experience preferred
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred
