Summary:

We are searching for an Electrician II - someone who works well in a fast-paced hospital setting. In this position, you’ll perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include Electrical and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes. You’ll also maintain facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for electrical and associated systems and equipment to ensure a safe environment and operational reliability according to standards established by management team

 

 

  • Performs inspections, maintenance and repairs to facilities to provide a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors

 

 

  • Perform troubleshooting and problem solving maintenance duties for electrical and associated systems and equipment according to standards established by management team

 

 

  • Demonstrates troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

 

 

  • Demonstrate technical knowledge depth for electrical and associated systems according to standards established by management team

 

 

  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills equivalent to those required to receive a Journeyman’s License from the State of Texas

 

 

  • Demonstrates work product meets the expected criteria

 

 

  • Demonstrates work quality consistently meets the customers’ needs

 

 

  • Demonstrate accountability for customer service and professional behavior through personal work ethic and teamwork

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

 

 

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an electrical service-related technician

 

 

  • Journeyman Electrician License from the State of Texas

 

 

  • Hospital experience is preferred

 

 

  • High-rise electrical systems experience is preferred

 

 

  • Mechanical systems experience and certification is preferred
