We are searching for Assistant Director of Patient Access someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll plan organize, staff and direct activities which include coaching, accountability for performance and results of multiple related operations, oversight of daily operations, budget management, and performance improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities :

Job Duties & Responsibilities


  • Monitor staffing requirements and productivity levels
  • Coach and develop individual team members by providing structured feedback through monthly leader engagement meetings, annual goal setting and informal and formal follow up to PMP at least twice a year
  • Develop and implement operational processes for expansion of existing or future services
  • Re-engineer or refine service revenue cycle by working with appropriate departments
  • Ensures appropriate staff competency and ongoing education by working closely with the managers, team leads and Revenue Cycle Education Training Team to ensure training is relevant to staff job expectations
  • Oversee coordination training from other departments


Skills & Requirements


  • Knowledge of healthcare and the health insurance industry
  • Knowledge of current business practices and revenue cycle
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare related field required
  • 5 years contact center communications, point of service, revenue cycle operations or like industry experience required
  • 5 years health insurance, physician referral and process, collection and finance counseling, insurance verification and authorization practices required
  • 2 years supervisory experience required
