Summary:

We are searching for a Senior Business Systems Analyst – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll coordinate all phases of the system optimization and upgrade project and provide production services such as recommending improvements to strategy, system usage, or process through the application of business and technology skill sets. You’ll also review and analyze systems including testing and documenting for all applications. You’ll represent the business and clinical interests and needs of a given project or specific component within a project. This role will consult with stakeholders to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Additional responsibilities include workflow administration and data management.

Responsibilities :

  • Translate business needs into detailed requirement specifications
  • Solution owner will become SME in supporting the business by working with IT & business owners and dealing with vendor relations
  • Create reports
  • Create process documentation
  • Process design
  • Maintain customer contact
  • Possess moderate SQL query skills to build queries, so developers know output requests
  • Translate customer's business problems, needs, or opportunities and design a virtualized solution that completely and correctly addresses the business problem, needs, or opportunity
  • Perform configuration analysis for system design
  • Identify and document data sources, recipients, and interfaces that need to be developed to support data collection
  • Analyze system problems and modifications
  • Recommend modifications to application design or current procedures to maximize advantages of existing resources
  • Maintain systems and releases
  • Implement modifications to the production systems to accommodate new or changing requirements
  • Research technology trends and directions
  • Research, analyzes, evaluates, and makes recommendations on and advocates for the selection of vendors, products, tools, services, protocols, infrastructure components, and standards that will support the IS strategies
  • Participate in overall departmental activities


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology required
  • Master’s degree, business administration, healthcare administration, or other related field preferred
  • Seven years of application design and implementation experience
  • Familiarity with claims, contracting, and fee schedule experience
  • Experience with supporting Medicaid Fee Schedules, ClaimCheck, CES, ClaimsXten, NetworX, and ClaimTestPro applications
