Summary:

We are searching a Systems Analyst II - Epic Ambulatory -  someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will review, analyze, and modify systems in Epic Ambulatory including configuration, testing, debugging, and documenting applications. You will also consult with customers to identify current operation procedures and to clarify program objectives. Additional responsibilities include workflow administration, data management and performing minor modifications to the application.

Responsibilities :

  • Translates users’ needs into detail requirement specifications
  • Supports the system installation through the implementation cycle
  • Performs configuration analysis for system design associated medium sized projects of average complexity
  • Analyzes system problems and modifications
  • Coordinates implementation and upgrades of complex systems


Qualifications:

  • 7 years' experience in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, or nursing required
  • Experience with Hospital information systems preferred
  • Epic Ambulatory experience highly preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Knowledge of current business practices and technology systems, interfaces, and standard healthcare software.
  • Familiarity with a variety of hardware and software environments
  • A working knowledge of the healthcare industry is also required.
  • May be expected to write documentation to describe installation and operation procedures• Familiar with relational databases and web deployed applications.
  • Basic knowledge of the technology that the incumbent will be directly involved with.
  • Knowledge of project management and planning, process mapping, group presentation, written and verbal communication,
  • analytical, and organizational skills, ability to analyze the functionality of systems and their fit with specifications.
  • Key skills are observation, curiosity, communication and patience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic problems and recommend appropriate action is required.
  • Uses and applies application analyst skills.
