Summary:

We are searching for a Well-Being Coordinator — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll develop and implement engaging wellness programs to promote and enhance employee health and well-being including nutrition, physical activity, weight management, smoking cessation, health promotion and prevention campaigns, and other programs.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement employee wellness programs surrounding evidence-based strategies, best practice examples, sound literature, creative and innovative ideas, and internal research
  • Implement annual strategic wellness program plans in alignment with HR and Employee Health and Wellness goals and services
  • Coordinate offsite fitness programs
  • Present information and lead discussions on health-related topics in group and individual settings
  • Assist employees with healthy lifestyle changes
  • Maximize program engagement through active and ongoing communications including, newsletters, website, social marketing, and other opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal communications partners to produce marketing materials
  • Foster an organizational culture of health and wellness
  • Implement active Wellness Ambassador program and a network of employee volunteers
  • Program analysis and outcomes
  • Create outcomes focused programs reports and present results to manager
  • Keep up to date on emerging health and wellness trends


Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in public health, health education, nutrition, exercise-science/physiology, or related field required
  • In lieu of graduate degree, four years of work experience in related wellness and/or health promotion activities with a related Bachelor’s degree is required
  • CHES - Cert-Cert Health Education Spec from National Commission of Certified Agencies preferred
  • 2 years’ experience in experience in corporate wellness and/or health promotion preferred
