Summary:

We are searching for Logistics Technician II – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll be responsible for executing moves utilizing the logistics process, including move planning, and ensuring successful outcomes of operational move requests.

Responsibilities :

Job Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborates with internal move team on appropriate activities
  • Coordinates onsite activities
  • Communicates expectations in term of increased traffic, noise, and other disruptions to end user/client
  • Perform installation and move activities by properly preparing the area and equipment
  • Transports furniture and materials
  • Provides warehouse management support
  • Demonstrates a high-quality work ethic by exhibiting a professional attitude, honesty, and integrity


Qualifications:

Skills & Requirements

 

  • Knowledge of installing and moving Steelcase, Haworth or similar modular furniture systems
  • Ability to read and understand CAD plans
  • Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude; understanding of project management principles
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities
  • Installer skills including knowledge of basic tools, moving equipment, and packaging/paddling to prevent equipment damage is required
  • Qualified to operate non-CDL straight trucks and a good driving record
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2 years in construction, carpentry and/or moving furniture/equipment experience required
