We are searching for a Philanthropy Advisor III to lead the Planned Giving program – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll secure at least $5 million in philanthropic funds for the organization by managing a portfolio of assigned, qualified prospects and donors to ensure their retention as continuing donors to the organization and to progressively upgrade their level of giving and involvement.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the health, composition, and ongoing activity of a portfolio
  • Create and execute cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies for portfolio prospects
  • Create and execute stewardship strategies for portfolio donors
  • Direct the Planned Giving program
    • Provide support for PG prospects in all major gift portfolios
    • Develop a comprehensive plan to promote PG throughout giving levels
    • Manage marketing materials
    • Estate administration


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Five years’ fundraising experience required 
  • Five years’ experience with direct individual fundraising with specific track record in Planned Giving preferred
  • Knowledge of fundraising planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and work with a wide variety of personalities
