Summary:

We are searching for a Diagnostic Tech Urgent Care – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform radiological exams and technical laboratory tests and report results timely to providers.

Responsibilities :

  • Performs radiological exams and laboratory test
  • Performs collection of specimens and reports results to provider
  • Performs quality control procedures, instrument calibration testing, proficiency testing and maintains supply par levels
  • Demonstrates commitment to team, flexibility, professional interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and customer service skill


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certified Medical Radiologic Tech
  • Certified Limited Medical Radiologic Tech
  • Basic Life Support Certification (American Heart Association)
  • One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred
  • MT and/or AMT preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Fundamental knowledge of office laboratory operation, related OSHA, CLIA, radiology, general office tasks, confidentiality and filing system.
  • Ability to use laboratory equipment, i.e., microscope, centrifuge, hematology and analyzer
