We are searching for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst – someone who works well in a fast-paced hospital setting. In this position, you’ll provide timely and effective business intelligence and analytics to support the improvement of clinical, operational and financial performance and the fulfillment of strategic initiatives. This position partners with senior and departmental leadership to develop reports, processes and applications to achieve client goals.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Analyzes and develops solutions to client business intelligence/analytics needs of moderate to high complexity and scope
Implements and maintains business intelligence/analytics applications, reports and processes of moderate to high complexity and scope
Provides business intelligence and process improvement expertise to clients
Organizes, plans and documents work in accordance with the organization’s Information Services policies and procedures
Skills & Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Seven (7) years of experience in business intelligence/analytics/decision support, including three (3) years of experience in managing projects
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration or other related field can be substituted for four (4) years of the general experience requirement
Master’s degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration or other related field can be substituted for two (2) years of the general experience requirement
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, health care administration, business, or other related field is preferred
Experience analyzing and implementing solutions in a health care environment preferred
Experience working with IS resources and leading teams preferred
Detailed knowledge of the healthcare industry in general, and specifically of the health insurance environment and health plan operations
Broad business intelligence industry knowledge of information systems and data warehouses
Full understanding of business intelligence/analytics and process improvement methodologies
High familiarity with business intelligence/analytics application and tools
Advanced understanding of project management methodologies
Strong problem-solving, organization, documentation, and customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently or in teams
Being effective in ambiguous and/or changing situations
Handling multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to a stringent timeline
Ability to lead teams towards a common goal and produce measurable results in a timely and cost effective manner
