We are currently looking for a Nutrition Service Representative I for the Food and Nutrition Services Unit who is able to manage patient diet orders, tray tickets, tray service, galley service and communication about diets in a manner developmentally appropriate for the ages of patients served (0-18 years) to insure accurate meal service. This is a flexible position that may include rotation to other Patient Service positions.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepares patient menus or tray tickets for meal service
  • Distributes and processes patient menus, diet trays or prepared formulas per diet order
  • Monitors and adjusts patient menus, trays, and formulas for diet order compliance
  • Assists with patient meal service and Food Service Galley, Diet Office, Storeroom and Formula Room
  • Weighs, Measures and Prepares Precise Formula Preparations using established sanitary techniques


  • High school diploma/GED 
  • One (1) year food service experience in an institutional or health care setting. (A Bachelor’s Degree can substitute for the required experience)
  • Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is knowledge of basic diets and introductory computer skills
