We are searching for an Ambulatory Services Representative II for Psychology Services - someone who works well in a fast-paced clinical setting. In this position, you’ll provide excellent customer service as the first contact for patients, providers and staff accessing ambulatory clinics. You will expedite the outpatient check-in and check-out processes by reviewing appointment statuses using an electronic appointment system to view information regarding appointment, insurance, and history; collect pre-visit payments and communicate with the clinic liaison regarding factors impacting the patient visit and general clinic-patient flow; and secure the financial integrity of the patients’ account by verifying benefits and obtaining referrals, authorizations, and pre-certifications.
We prefer someone who is bilingual, and has at least two years of ambulatory services representative experience. You should have worked with EPIC, and be familiar with registration and customer service in a hospital environment. This is primarily a front desk position who will make first impressions for this very important practice.
