Summary:

We are searching for a Senior Project Manager– someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll be responsible for the organization and project management of hospital initiatives related

too Strategic and Business Planning and supports various departments throughout the organization. These initiatives will include key financial and strategic efforts as well as the creation of organization-wide databases and dashboards. You will work alongside the guidance of the Manager and the Director of Strategic and Business Planning, this position will partner with project teams to enhance strategic and business project management used for decision making and economic and operational forecasting.

Responsibilities :

  • Serve as Sr. Project Manager for various multi-faceted strategic and business related initiatives
  • Develop financial and operational models and tools of varying complexity, incorporating many key variables and integrating sensitivity analysis
  • Utilize internal and external market databases to analyze and project the business impacts of new initiatives
  • Obtain, validate, analyze and manipulate data from various internal and external sources to inform decisions
  • Provide outstanding customer service, develop strong relationships with executive leaders, partners, physicians and all other stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve problems quickly and appropriately, and ensure communication is maximized and conducive to a positive, productive work environment
  • Performs special projects as directed by the Vice President Finance and other executive customers
  • Provide leadership, decision analysis, subject matter expertise and recommendations for various initiatives throughout the IDS
  • Train, develop and mentor Project Managers, Project Analysts and other team members as directed by the supervisor

 

 



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or other related healthcare, business, or science field
  • Five years of relevant work experience (A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or other related healthcare, business, or science field may substitute for two years of the relevant work experience requirement)
  • Two years of experience managing medium to large sized projects (A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or other related healthcare, business, or science field may substitute for one year of the required experience managing medium to large sized projects)
  • Knowledge of internally and externally available data related to hospital and medical services
  • Ability to use computerized accounting systems, spreadsheets, word processing
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Ability to present with subordinates and executive level management
