Summary:

We are searching for a Transplant Data Registry Analyst – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll collect and coordinate a multitude of information for patients which may include, solid organ transplants, autologous and allogeneic bone marrow, including core data sets for these patients, from point of referral, pre-transplant, transplant, and post-transplant. You will also be responsible to assist with management of data submitted to various donor programs including data base maintenance, forms tracking, quality assurance reviews, and assistance with overall study analysis.

Responsibilities :

  • Prospectively tracks data for all solid and/or bone marrow transplant patients enrolled on assigned protocols and monitors changes and progress of protocols
  • Submits data to appropriate data registry in a timely manner to meet quarterly forms due deadlines
  • Presents patient reports to attending physicians at weekly transplant data management meetings
  • Determines, with team, appropriate variables/fields
  • Designs and formats databases
  • Enters data as patient data are collected or as events occur
  • Queries the database in response to requests for information
  • May monitor the department’s data reporting to ensure that the Transplant Center maintains at least a 95% compliance rate as required
  • May prepare weekly reports of outstanding data report and distribute these reports to the personnel responsible for the completion of the forms
  • Will assist the Transplant Compliance Coordinator and other team members with special projects as needed
  • Provides data queries support for presentations and meetings
  • May prepare charts for review

 

 



Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Four years of experience in data management or related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a health related field is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with others and demonstrate team work
  • Ability to develop and maintain databases
  • Ability to abstract and computerize information from forms, reports and/or medical records
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, medical records, database structure and development
