We are searching for an HVAC Mechanic I, someone who has what it takes to work in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll perform both demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment, primarily Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory agency codes.

Responsibilities :

  • Performs preventative maintenance and repairs for HVAC and associated systems and equipment to ensure a safe environment and operational reliability according to standards established by management team
  • Performs troubleshooting and problem solving maintenance duties for HVAC and associated systems and equipment according to standards established by management team
  • Demonstrates technical knowledge for HVAC and associated systems according to standards established by management team
  • Demonstrates accountability for customer service and professional behavior through personal work ethic and teamwork
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills
  • Demonstrates management skill sets
  • Consistently demonstrates positive, responsible leadership and guidance


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience as an HVAC service-related technician
  • Commercial HVAC State B License with E endorsement or Stationary Engineer III License
  • Hospital experience preferred
  • High-rise HVAC systems experience preferred
  • Refrigeration certification preferred
  • Ability to use maintenance equipment including hand-held power tools, computers for building automation, and computerized maintenance management systems
  • Ability to resource with others effectively
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Management skills such as planning, coordination, estimating, and scheduling skills
