Summary:

We are searching for a Security Technician I — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll support the Security Services Department and the hospital in providing a secure environment of care for patients, family members, visitors, and staff. You will be responsible for supporting the technical team with installing, configuring, and maintaining the electronic security systems. As assigned, performs Protection Systems

Specialist functions, such as monitoring the access control, burglar alarm, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), communications, report management, emergency management systems, and emergency responses

Responsibilities :

  • Performs Protection Resource Specialist functions in the Security Service Center as vacancies occur in the normal shift rotation

 

 

  • Conducts inquiries and security system checks and audits

 

 

  • Configures Security Systems

 

 

  • Installs card readers, strikes, magnetic locks, door sensors, motion detectors and related equipment

 

 

  • Responds to work requests and repairs security equipment in a timely manner

 

 

  • Conducts training for Hospital personnel as directed

 

 



Qualifications:

 

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent

 

 

  • 5 years of security systems experience

 

 

  • Have a current safe and clear driving record
