We are searching for a Control Systems Tech II (BAS) – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll perform demand and scheduled preventive maintenance, make revisions to the software and hardware operating systems, develop and run simulations of control loop performance, develop new control loops, install new controllers, and develop and install new graphical interfaces of the facility equipment. Equipment primarily includes control systems such as HVAC control systems, building automation systems, energy management and monitoring systems, and associated systems. Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in a hospital or clinic environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for systems and equipment to ensure a safe environment and operational reliability according to standards established by management team
  • Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving maintenance duties for systems
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge depth for systems
  • Accountable for customer service and professional behavior through personal work ethic and teamwork
  • Demonstrate positive, responsible leadership and guidance
  • Comply with OSHA requirements


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a DDC controls systems, service-related technician
  • Factory trained in a DDC system’s programming language
  • Building automation system experience
  • Knowledge of maintenance equipment and diagnostics to facilitate troubleshooting and repair processes
  • Ability to use maintenance equipment including hand-held power tools
  • Ability to use computers for building automation and computerized maintenance management systems
  • Hospital experience and Honeywell building automation system experience preferred
  • Commercial high-rise controls systems experience preferred
