We are searching for a Senior Business Systems Analyst — someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will coordinate all phases of a system optimization or upgrade projects. You’ll oversee providing production services like recommending improvements to strategy, system usage, or process through the application of business and technology skill sets. This role will review and analyze systems including testing and documenting for all organizational applications. This position will oversee the business/clinical interests and needs of a given project and/or specific component within a project while consulting with stakeholders to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify system issues, business process needs, and other integrating systems are being used effectively
  • Supports business/clinical operations and serves as liaison to Information Services supporting continued system maintenance and optimization
  • Works with I.S. and customers to perform functional configuration analysis for system implementations, on-going maintenance, and other projects
  • Analyzes the business’s use of existing systems to identify problems to be resolved, and defines system applications or process improvements
  • Develops and maintains training materials and training environment for systems training
  • Runs reports to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for the business/clinical operations including but not limited to meaningful use and clinical outcomes
  • Assists with enforcement of project activities/deadlines for stakeholders in collaboration with Information Services project management office
  • Produces, publishes, and distributes scheduled and ad-hoc client and operational analysis relating to clinical and revenue cycle operations


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, health care administration, nursing or related fields required
  • Master’s degree in business administration, health care administration, or related fields preferred
  • 7 years of experience in health care operations and/or information systems implementation
  • 4 years of related work experience may substitute for bachelor’s degree
