Summary:

We are searching for a Senior Project Manager/Technical Writer - someone who works well in a fast-paced hospital setting. In this position, you’ll lead and be responsible for projects which are complex, multi-disciplinary and/or enterprise-wide; and to provide expertise to short and long-term assignments internal and external to the designated areas of responsibilities. You’ll also be responsible for duties such as: team development, monitoring, and guidance; work process analysis and improvement, data analysis and creative problem solving, and facilitation of various strategic initiatives.

 

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with strong writing skills and experience managing strategic and operational projects. Examples of these projects would be process improvement, business development, proposals, etc.

Responsibilities :

  • Manages projects delegated by leadership including, but not limited to, business planning and development, strategic planning, financial analysis, development of affiliations and contracts, medical staffing, facilities planning and construction, and operations planning and development.
  • Analyzes issues and data related to projects and presents findings to leadership for effective decision-making. Presents recommendations orally and in writing in a clear, concise format.
  • Coordinates team goal preparation and writing; coordinates the tracking of progress and reports updates to executive leadership quarterly.
  • Suggests and initiates improvements to team processes when possible, to improve efficiencies, and communication between work teams.
  • Actively participates in task forces and director-level committees; represents leadership or any of their areas of responsibility on multidisciplinary teams.
  • Consults with and provides guidance to senior leaders on issues that cross multiple departments within areas of responsibility; involves others within these areas as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Bachelors in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, or other related healthcare, business, or science field preferred
  • Five (5) years of relevant work experience including two (2) years of experience managing medium to large sized projects
  • A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or other related healthcare, business, or science field may substitute for one year of the required experience managing medium to large sized projects
