We are searching for a Dialysis Technician, 7a-7p – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll manage daily technical duties in the dialysis unit that aid and support in providing safe operation and monitoring of dialysis equipment. The technician participates in supporting the delivery of high quality, family-centered and developmentally appropriate patient care at the unit level.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintains clinical competency by ensuring that physiologic, psychosocial, and developmental needs of the patient are met within a family-centered care environment
  • Maintains dialysis equipment according to prescribed procedures and with accountability for cost-effective management while helping to ensure that the department achieves patient care goals
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills with health care team and other hospital departments
  • Manages time so that workflow is efficient and consistent


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BONENT certification and/or CCHT preferred
  • Knowledge of utilizing basic mechanical directions for equipment function and maintenance
  • Knowledge of quality control and quality improvement concepts
  • Knowledge of infection control and safety concept
  • Ability to operate mechanical equipment and a personal computer
