We are searching for a Nurse Supervisor – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will supervise and direct clinical staff, as well as gather information and provide direct care to patients.

Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and evaluate clinical staff to ensure optimal job performance
  • Direct clinical staff in the provision of patient care
  • Schedule staff based on practice, need, and budget
  • Monitor patient flow throughout the practice
  • Identify, recommend, and initiate long-range improvement plans for patient care
  • Follow guidelines such as CLIA/COLA and OSHA
  • Communicate clearly to the staff
  • Submit paperwork in accordance with TCP policies
  • Conduct educational in-services on a regular basis
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to promote the adjustment and continuity of patient care
  • Assist provider, as directed, during treatments, examinations and testing
  • Document all interventions
  • Complete treatments and labs when suggested by provider
  • Handle communication between the staff and parents
  • Keep rooms stocked with necessary supplies and notify the Practice Manager of needed equipment
  • Participate as a member of the care team
  • Coordinate patient care by following up on lab results, ER visits, etc
  • Collect patient/family data that may include biophysical, psychosocial, developmental, cultural, and environmental information
  • Gather each patient’s vital signs, BMI, height, weight, current medications, and any adverse reaction for the patient’s record
  • Administer medication as directed
  • Identify parents eligible for the Vaccines for Children Program and follow procedures for accurate documentation management for the state-run program
  • Maintain the integrity of medical supplies in accordance with the Infection Control guidelines
  • Respond appropriately in emergency situations
  • Verify provider order
  • Handle and process all specimens with special attention
  • Prepare reagents appropriately and perform required reagent checks
  • Participate in quarterly proficiency testing programs
  • Assess each patient’s eligibility for referral by verifying coverage with payer prior to initiating referral
  • Complete paperwork and documentation for authorized referral within 2 business days


  • High school diploma (or GED) and graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required
  • License as a Registered Nurse and certification in Basic Life Support is necessary
  • 1 year of experience as a staff nurse or LVN is required
  • 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred
