Summary:

We are searching for Inpatient Staff Nurse – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll provide nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, educating, implanting, and evaluating age-appropriate care in a manner that incorporates family-centered principles and cost-effective care.

Responsibilities :

 

 

  • Assesses patient with input from patient and family

 

 

  • Involves patient and family in the patient’s plan of care

 

 

  • Implements high quality, cost effective patient care in conjunction with the patient and family

 

 

  • Evaluates plan of care

 

 

  • Educates patient and family

 

 

  • Demonstrates commitment to team, flexibility, professional interpersonal communication, critical thinking, and customer service skills

 

 

  • Manages time and resources in a cost-effective manner

 

 

  • Maintains professional development of self and participates in the development of others

 

 

  • Participates in achieving hospital/unit goals

 

 

 

 



Qualifications:

 

  • Must have either a Bachelor’s, Associates, or Technical Diploma in Nursing

 

 

  • RN- License - Registered Nurse by the Board of Nursing of the State of Texas is required

 

 

  • BLS Certification- Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association is required

 

 

  • 1 year of professional nursing experience required
