We are searching for a 3D Image Analyst – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will perform high quality image post-processing procedures that utilize state-of-the-art technology. You will also be responsible for data collection and the analysis of anatomical, volumetric, and physiological data sets for CTs and MRIs. This position also calls for coordinating the data transfer, both in-house and for outside research sponsors.
Think you’ve got what it takes?
• Perform image post-processing using advanced computer workstations and various image processing tools
• Post process 3D images for neurological exams (CT/CTA/MRI/MRA)
• Anatomic analysis of all relevant strictures for all CT and MRI cardiothoracic exams
• Functional analysis (not limited to phase contrast imaging, ventricular function, and/or differential perfusion) of all cardiac MRI exams
• Create 3D graphic reconstructions including MIP, MINIP, and volume rendered images of all thoracic, abdominal, and extremity vascular exams as well as producing CT/MRI datasets
• Understand and design advanced 3D reconstructions from CT and MRI data (e.g. virtual angiography and bronchoscopy)
• Manage all 3D printing requests, including the scheduling, exam initiation, and completion of said requests
• Create STLs for all generic musculoskeletal 3D printing needs
• Deliver analyzed data to the hospital PACS system
• Track all CT and MRI studies using various databases in addition to verifying dictation for each case
• Evaluate post procedures and results to assure compliance with all institutional policies and procedures in accordance with the specific protocol criteria
• Manage the data transfer process for all research protocols and respond to queries from protocol sponsors
• Maintain and update sponsor-provided imaging manuals
• Record data in appropriate logbooks and digital backup logs
• Participate in formal training programs and required in-services which relate to internal and external training
• Perform special projects and/or duties relating to protocol development, new protocol initiatives, new techniques, new instruments, and/or professional development
• Collaborate on patient care and research projects with all institutional staff
• Bachelor’s degree and technical diploma from a formal education program in radiography
• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field is preferred
• Certifications in CMRT and CT-ARRT are essential unless you are certified in MR-ARR
• 5 years of CT, MR, or ultrasound experience
• 5 years of radiology and 2 years’ experience of clinical MRI or CT preferred
• Demonstrate high competency with advanced image processing software such as Vitria, Phillips Extended Work Stations, Mimics, 3-matic, etc.
