Summary:

We are searching for an Administrative Supervisor – someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you’ll provide administrative support to designated leaders within the department and manages personnel functions. You will plan, coordinate, and direct broad and complex management functions, well as lead and coordinate the activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within a specified timeframe. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must have experience with SharePoint and AV technologies.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide administrative support to leaders, faculty, and staff to ensure continuity of operations and to fulfill various teaching, research, clinical, and administrative services
  • Receive and disseminate departmental information accurately and promptly
  • Prepare check requests, purchase requisitions, petty cash vouchers, and deposits, while also obtaining all appropriate signatures as required
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct departmental meetings, social events, and holiday celebrations, ensuring high employee morale
  • Act as a liaison with internal departments, affiliated partners, and external customers
  • Supervise office support staff and direct their work activities to assure the accurate and timely completion of required responsibilities and special projects
  • Manage personnel functions including the hiring process, performance management, termination process, and time/attendance
  • Complete onboarding and training processes for new hires
  • Coordinate projects to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives
  • Analyze project goals, plan scheduled deadlines, and provide guidance and direction to the leadership of department/organization-wide initiatives
  • Conduct editing and document management processes
  • Develop, recommend, and implement necessary improvements and changes


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years’ administrative and/or office management experience
  • Strong SharePoint experience preferred
  • Strong AV and video conference experience preferred
