Texas Children's Hospital has an opening for an Assistant Director, Clinical Systems/Business Intelligence position in Houston, TX. Duties include: Provide support to the Director, Information Services in planning, directing, overseeing support operations, & maintaining effective Data, Analytics & Integration Services for the Information Systems network of users. Act as Service Owner in overseeing performance of the following services in the Data & Integration space: Extract, transform & load services to the Enterprise Data Warehouse; Database management; Data cleansing; Data governance & strategy; Data quality; Reporting building; Machine learning & predicative analytics; Provide support for enterprise production system by planning, leading, & maintaining an effective information systems network of users & leading system production activities incl. short & long-term planning, education, training & utilization. Incidental domestic travel is required up to twice a year to conferences.
Requirements: Employer will accept a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in an Enterprise Systems Engineer-related occupation.
